CWA is a straight racing organization along with a conformation match.  All whippets are not accepted. Pedigrees are scrutinized according to CWA requirements.  With Some variations the format is close to WRA.  They run 200 yards races.  It takes a mininum of 10 whippets for a meet.

Titles available:
TRP - Title of Racing Proficiency - Whippets competing in 10 adult CWA race meets and completing all four heats in true racing fashion.
TRPX - Whippets completing 25 adult CWA adult race meets completing all four heats.
ARX - Award of Racing Excellence - 15 ARX points For whippets that demonstrate a high level of performance and speed.  Points are awarded to the Top Finishers at each race meet.
NARX - 15 points  NARX points are recognized for accumulation of National Points
SRA - Superior Racing Award - 75 National points
Dual Purpose Champion - DPC - dogs who earn a TRP plus accomplish an AKC or CKC bench championship or win 5 CWA meets.
DPCX - CWA Dual Purpose Championship Excellent - The highest level of CWA award. Whippets that earn an ARX are eligible for the DPCX  by the same qualificatins as the DPC with the exception that they must earn the title of ARX.
