This ceramic sculpture was made
by Kay Finch famous for her
Crown Crest Afghan Hounds
and Salukis and Whippets.  She is
also famous for her  ceramics and
pottery that she created  in her home  in Corona del Mar, Calif.,
between 1939 and 1963 .

Back in the 50’s Kay’s Crown Crest Kennels were considered one of the
Top Afghan Hound Bloodlines in the country with over 100 Champions
to her credit.  

I am proud to claim this Kay Finch Whippet as my own.  It is  about
12 ½ inches tall.  I first saw it on Ebay 2 years ago and was outbid.
This time I didn’t let it get away.....
