Answer:  Yes I do.  I feel I have improved my dog’s fronts and today I also have much better side movement.  When I first began breeding, the success I had was probably pure luck, but because of this luck I believe I developed a critical eye for what looked correct and functioned with ease which still is pretty much

Question 9.  Did you have any Whippets that you felt made outstanding contributions?
Answer:  Yes, I have had quite a few that I feel made outstanding contributions, especially for me:

A. Ch. Bo-Bett’s Luke Skywalker (Luke) - He was my first stud dog and I’m now aware that with God’s help, he produced pups much better than he was. Amazingly when crossed on the few bitches that I had, Luke established a type of Whippet that I still admire.  They were versatile, balanced and sound with excellent temperaments.  He created a good start for Bo-Bett.

B. Ch. Grovenor’s Marla Of Morshor (Marla) – I stumbled on this gorgeous orange brindle & white bitch and I actually shook, I was so excited when I bought her.  Marla was unbelievably sound and elegant with smooth, sweepy lines and lovely angulation.  On top of that, she was a five star producer.

C. Ch. Misty Moor’s Devine Pleasure (Deviny) – Although she was small, she was correct and beautiful and also had incredible litters.  She produced one puppy after another that we had trouble deciding which was best.  “Deviny” easily became the top producing Whippet bitch of all time even though I gave away some of her unbelievable pups to my horse friends, who naturally never showed them.

D. Ch. Bo-Bett’s Snow Bunny (Bunny) – We knew from the very beginning she was special, perhaps she was as good as they get

E. Ch. Bo-Bett’s My Friend Ken – Ken was a rather stretchy fawn & white dog.  He was a strong dominant show dog and sire who helped my movement a lot.  He was “an alpha” and tougher than most of my dogs but we at Bo-Bett all loved him in spite of his arrogance and bossiness.
