20. Your advice you would like to share about breeding Whippets.

Carol: I would hope that exhibitors today would stay around the shows longer than just to exhibit their dog and go home. Talk to other breeders, especially those who have been successful. Watch other breeds, especially the sighthounds, you can learn a lot. Look at the dogs and learn about their pedigrees. Just don’t breed to the “flavor” of the month because he wins a lot. Even the biggest producer is not right for every bitch. Be careful in your selection and be able to evaluate your own stock as to its quality, faults and strong points. There is no such thing as the perfect dog
